As a wedding photographer, I’ve always thought that the Internet just plain makes our jobs easier. Whether it’s the aspect of promoting the business, showing potential clients samples of your work or even providing clients with the actual results of the wedding photography that you did for them – these can all be done online.

It’s the last part that I’ll pay extra attention to in this post: how to show clients the actual results of the wedding photography taken on their big day. Basically, I offer the online wedding photos gallery as part of my basic wedding photography package.

So how exactly does this work? It’s all done with the help of an online photo album. Depending on the online photo website that my client is familiar with, that is what I use to upload their pictures. When uploading the pictures on the online photo album, I make sure that the pictures are already arranged in chronological order. And naturally, they have already passed the editing phase.

The clients can view the online photo album by looking through the individual pictures or using the slideshow option. Should the newlywed couple decide to share their online album with relatives and friends, they can definitely do so.

This is why I make sure to provide them with the user name and password that their friends and relatives can use to access the account. If the couple does not mind making the album public, all I need to do is provide them with the URL of the website where they can view the online photography album.

There are even some couples who want to have immediate access to the raw pictures or the unedited ones as soon as the wedding is done. I also cater to this request, although the final copy of the pictures will be placed on a separate online photo album.

As you can see, there is a variety of ways that you can use to suit the requests of your clients – and an online photo album is an essential tool which should be part of your wedding photography packages, too.
